The other day when I got out of the shower I realized that I’ve never tried digitally painting myself from life, so I decided to change that. I feel like something really honest came of it… even though simple, this proved to be a very healthy and rewarding exercise for me personally.

ALSO... this is something new. I made a screen recording of my process on this painting. Several people have been requesting that I make something along these lines, so I hope you'll find the video entertaining if not instructive. Here is the

It starts off looking pretty crappy, but I am okay with that... I was trying something new so I'm not going to bee too harsh on myself

I think I'll do more videos in the future, this was fun.

I liked the video, it was interesting. And now I have to go download whoever was singing.
I also like all your use of color! Flesh for me is so hard, it has so many colors, but I can never get the hang of making it subtle enough to look good.

When I looked at this, I immediately thought to comment, "Hey, this looks like you just got out of the shower." Funny thing, that's exactly what you drew. So I suppose it was successful on all levels.
